Sweep

Carries a section along a path, like a handrail or a molding.

Sweep uses two paths: the first child is the trajectory and the second is the section, a closed path. The section counts by its drawing, wherever it is: its center moves along the trajectory, with the section's X axis to the side and Y up.

It is useful for handrails, moldings, pipes and handles. The trajectory can be open or closed.

Orientation
  • Close the ends: Closes both ends of an open trajectory.
  • Section: Round makes a tube with the radius and sides you set, without the second path, like a handle or a round handrail.
  • Orientation: Fixed up keeps the section's Y always pointing the same way and joins the segments with mitered corners, like a molding or a window frame.
  • Texture: In meters lays the texture along the path at real scale, with the size and aspect of the image.
