Squash
Compresses the mesh on one axis, fattening it on the others.
Squash compresses the mesh on one axis and, with volume preservation on, widens it on the other two in the same proportion. It is the deformation of a ball hitting the ground, and the natural counterpart of stretching when the value is positive.
Properties
- Axis: The compressed axis.
- Factor: How much it compresses. Negative squashes, positive stretches.
- Curvature: How much the belly follows the compression, instead of the piece just changing height.
- Preserve volume: Widens on the other axes to make up for what was compressed.
