Material Editing

Material Editing is where you edit the materials of the objects. It is where you define how the surface reacts to light, through properties such as metalness, roughness, emission and transparency, and through the maps that go with each one.

The preview is done on a sphere, the same one that appears in the thumbnails of the resource list.

This mode has no toolbar, all the work happens in the side panels.

When editing a custom shader, the main side panel is the Uniforms panel, where the values exposed by the shader code are changed.

  • Show Wireframe: Shows the edges on top of the surface.
