Text

The Text creates the typed letters in 3D, with the chosen thickness. It works for signs, logos and lettering.

Properties

• Text: The text. It can have more than one line.
• Font: The font.
• Bold: Uses the bold version of the font, when it has one.
• Size: The height of the letters, in meters.
• Depth: The thickness of the letters.
• Smoothness: How smooth the curves of the letters are. High values make the text heavier.
• Enabled: Rounds the edge of the letters, so they look molded instead of cut out.
• Thickness: How far the rounding goes into the thickness.
• Size: How far the rounding goes out of the outline. High values can make letters touch.
• Segments: How smooth the rounding is.

To write on a surface, a text layer in UV/Texture Editing is much lighter.
