Disk

A flat circle, generated as a fan of triangles.

Disk
Disk

The Disk is a flat circle, lying on the XZ plane with the face pointing up. It is the round version of the plane, used as a cap, a coin, a circular base and an area marker on the ground.

Radial Seg.
32
  • Radius: Radius of the circle, in meters.
  • Radial Seg.: Number of sectors of the circle. It decides whether the border reads as a curve or as a polygon.

Topology

The disk is always a fan of triangles around a central vertex, even when the project prefers quads, because every sector ends at the same point.

Like the plane, it has a face on one side only and disappears when seen from below.
